This is Chuck Sangers 1968 Firebird racecar. He races the car at Tampa Bay Dragway in Clearwater Florida. He bought the car in 1996 for $500.00 needing total restoration. With the help of friends Hank Lawton owner of Lawton machine shop and Bill Seal at Superior Auto Body, he has transformed the ailing Firebird into the awesome race car you see here.
